Somewhere along the way, a simple safety slogan escaped its original habitat and became a lifestyle brand. “If you see something, say something” began as a practical reminder in airports. Today, it’s less a security measure and more a cultural reflex — the unofficial motto of a society that has confused vigilance with virtue.

Most people think the Super Bowl is a football game.
That’s adorable.
The football is just there to keep everyone facing the same direction while the largest behavioral data collection event in human history quietly unfolds around them. The Super Bowl is not a championship. It’s a census. The only difference is this one measures who we are emotionally instead of how many bathrooms we have.
Every year, one Sunday in February, the country willingly sits still for four hours while researchers — sorry, “sponsors” — take notes.
